Jan graduated from the Elam School of fine arts, and the Auckland Teachers College. She taught Art, and then escaped to live in London and Rome for four years, studying and working as a textile designer. Back in New Zealand she worked as a textile designer and colourist for British Paints, Toyota N.Z., Mount Cook Airways and many others. Jan has travelled extensively for her work and visited many museums and Trade Fairs. She has always painted, and now paints full time. |
