Joan Honeyfield

Canada-born, US-raised & NZ-now, Joan Honeyfield has found her ‘happy place’ – living & painting in the Bay of Islands. While she was temporarily distracted by her 30 year career in healthcare, she has now found where she’s supposed to be: gleefully putting paint on things. She, along with Win & Karen, paints under the tutelage of Michael Nettmann to develop, advance & refine her artistic skills. “Exploring the magic of serendipity & the satisfaction of a well-crafted line or shape or form is what it’s about for me,” Joan says. “And, all in fabulous, mouth-watering color!
